As you can guess judging from the name, and will see for yourself after just one glance at Fruits Go Bananas slot, this game has a fun, exciting theme carried throughout. The game is full of great fruit characters who make up the symbols, but not just fruits with funny faces as you may have seen before, but full characters that come to life such as the Wild Smoking Pineapple or the crazy Scatter Banana himself. The basis is that they are all aboard a cruise ship have the party time of their lives – or going bananas – this becomes abundantly clear when entering the gamble game, more on that later.

The Wild symbol is the first feature worth mentioning as on any game is the most sought-after symbol. When the Wild symbol appears, this will substitute for all other symbols except for the Scatter symbol as a boost to help you create the best and biggest wins possible. Not only will it substitute another symbol for the win, but when a wild symbol is used to make a winning combination, that line win will also be doubled.

The Scatter symbol has its own value and pays for 3, 4 or 5 on any position over the reels, not just over a winning payline. When landing 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols, you will also be rewarded with 10, 20 or 30 Free Spins respectively with the chance to re-trigger during the Free Spin’s bonus.

When making a win of any amount, you will be presented with 2 options – to take the win or gamble it for the 50/50 chance of doubling your money. If choosing to gamble, you will be brought to a new game where you will find all the crazy characters standing around either 2 pools. Your job is to pick a pool, then the watermelon man dressed down in his bathing suit, will jump of the top of a diving board into the chosen pool. If it is a successful dive you win and can continue to the next round, if he bumps his head, you lose and will be taken back to the main game. There is a total of 7 rounds that can be played when using the gamble feature.

As with many video slots, the Wild symbol is the highest paying followed shortly by another star of the show, the Watermelon man as he has now been named with solid pay-outs for landing 5 of these. The Scatter, although a very important symbol in the game, has a much lower payout just for landing them, however, does come with a bonus round of Free Spins with the chance to make big wins.

The minimum bet is 0.10€ and the maximum is 100€.

Fruits Go Bananas slot is an extremely fun and exciting video slot from the Wazdan group. The great characters, Scatters and Free Spins will keep things fresh and certainly keep you entertained. It is a great choice for players who prefer a higher volatility with fewer win frequencies. Overall a great game, full of charm.
